Reeves is borrowing more and more, raising taxes on the "working people" they vowed to protect, and lied about the surplus in the economy, all to justify a splurge on welfare spending -- which will increase by £73 billion by 2030.

That should have, by itself, been enough to force her resignation. When you couple it with the several other things she has lied about -- most recently, her rental license just last month -- and it doesn't make any sense that she is still in her position.

They are giving the same tired narrative about the economy, and lying to our faces about OBR data which we can all read with our own eyes.

The most striking thing for me, is that it appears everyone is moving on. The press cycles have finished, the FCA and the Independent Ethics Advisor have let her off the hook, and her own party seem alright with letting her represent them. The government has no integrity anymore, and not a single iota of public trust.

Thank you. Do you think this Government's plan all along has been to shift the UK to a Swedish style economy with high tax and generous welfare? In other words the high tax is not a short term solution to a temporary economic problem but something intended, by this government, to be a permanent feature.
